Investors in Tesla will be pleased today. The company just held its annual meeting and the address from CEO Elon Musk seems to reinforce all the hopes for the company. He said the new Model 3’s production schedule was on track and that there was huge demand for the new model, with a wait list over a year long. Musk also announced Tesla would be debuting a new semi-truck in September and that shippers “just want to know how many can they buy and how soon”. The company is also scaling up its network of superchargers, which give 170 miles of range in 30 min of charging.
FINSUM: Tesla has been notoriously poor at keeping to production timelines, but it seems so-far-so-good for the company on the Model 3.
